210 Pentonville Rd
Elegant and refined wayfinding, echoing the materiality, forms and texture of the space
210 Pentonville is a prominent office building near King’s Cross, standing as a distinctive landmark in London. Our objective for this project was to develop a sophisticated and polished wayfinding system that seamlessly integrates with the interior scheme designed by Lore Group, reflecting its materiality, forms, and textures.
At key decision points within the building, the signage takes direct inspiration from the architectural and interior details, particularly the reflective blue-tinted glass of the building’s exterior and the organic contours of the furniture. These elements inform both the materiality and the sculptural quality of the signage, ensuring a seamless connection between wayfinding and spatial design.
To further reinforce the wayfinding experience, we designed a bespoke set of pictograms, drawing from the building’s identity and external signage. This custom iconography enhances the clarity and cohesiveness of the system, creating a distinctive visual language that guides occupants intuitively while strengthening the overall sense of place.
