Disrupting our perception of how council campaigns should look
Rethink, Recycle, Repeat!
In collaboration with Waltham Forest Council, we set out to completely rethink the standard council recycling campaign. Our approach didn’t just focus on the process but instead placed the spotlight on the residents of Waltham Forest, creating a cultural recycling initiative that truly resonated with them.
The result was a bold, dynamic, and unforgettable visual identity. Drawing inspiration from the everyday packaging of waste, we introduced playful stickers as the campaign's signature element. These vibrant graphics, combining quirky icons and typography, interacted with surfaces to create a layered, tactile brand message brimming with energy and a touch of mischief.
The campaign’s messaging was crafted to be punchy, memorable, and direct, with a clear call to action that seamlessly adapted across a variety of platforms—from social media and newspapers to billboards and waste truck wraps.

Make it stand out.
At the heart of the campaign is a striking fleet of 5 waste trucks, turned into eye-catching mobile billboards — A powerful, mobile reminder of Waltham Forest’s sustainability ambitions as they travel through the borough on their daily routes.
