Burnt Oak
Connecting a town to nature by lending the organic environment with the urban setting
A mural installation at the station exit of Burnt Oak creates a striking visual welcome for visitors and commuters as they arrive in the town. Acting as a symbolic gateway, the artwork enhances the sense of arrival and establishes Burnt Oak as a distinct destination.
Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the nearby park, the mural incorporates leaf shapes, blending the organic environment with the urban setting. These leaf forms are carefully arranged to interact with negative space, cleverly spelling out "Burnt Oak" in a way that is both subtle and bold.
This thoughtful design not only highlights the town's connection to nature but also provides a unique and memorable point of reference for all who pass by, inviting them to explore the community beyond the station.
